LOL. Actually, we are in the midst of planning a trip to South Dakota for late 2015. Would you be interested in providing advice/suggestions?

Not much of an expedition but I'm preparing for some (unfortunately short) trails in Italy and Corsica.

hi guy's i love all the pic's here, I was wondering if anyone had some pics of how you load your roof rack, do you use tule hard box's,roof top bags, big tool box's, safari straps, bungee cords, duffle bags, or maybe just lots of rope. ect?... also what kind of stuff do you tend to put on the rack and what gets put in the back?

I have a 2013 4 door sport with a gobi stealth rack, 2 inch spacer lift and 33's. I am a mall crawler for now but not for to much longer I need to find some trails here in ri.

thanks in advance.

Here's the poor man setup. Just bags, tarps, and bungees.

My rack sees a wagon and stroller for the kids, mountain bike, snowboard, and surfboard for me and generally whatever else can't fit with a family of four.

Congrats on the 13! my setup is definitely a budget one...besides having a 12 jk. I dont have a rack...yet. I throw some storage bins with camping gear, a cooler, my hi lift and recovery gear, tools (mostly a socket set and wrenches), my portable compressor and go...and yes it does all fit in back or under the back seats. i also discovered that our stroller fits standing upright! Ratchet tie downs and bungees are always useful. Have fun exploring back east! I hear Rhode Island is beautiful!

Was out in San Diego to visit my folks last week (drove the Jeep but nothing overlanding/off-roading) and spent a couple hours each day shooting photos just for fun. Got a nice chance to shoot the surfers in Imperial Beach ...

Edit: Oh, and to stay on topic, a picture of the Jeep at White Sands National Monument on the return trip ...
