I can't really say. Probably, but at those slow speeds gas mileage in 4WD will be abysmal anyway. Even in 2WD, which I stay in whenever possible--that makes a huge improvement. Also, suggest you air down to about 20 PSI, not the rock crawling 12-15 PSI. Reason is because it keeps the sidewalls a bit straighter, protecting them from damage. I've lost two tires over the years to sidewall damage. Never lost a tire to damage in the tread area (have had to repair a couple, but they weren't beyond repair and at 300-350 a pop, that's important).

Mark. Sorry for all the questions ha ha. You are running the ome 2.5" hd lift right?. I am debating putting the 10a springs on my rig to compensate for the new bumpers. They are a little stiffer than the 19/60 combo as far as I know. Then add air bags for load. Thoughts?

I am running a 2.5" TF coil lift, with OME HD springs on the rear when the hardtop is on--swapping the hardtop also involves swapping the springs for me (back to the 2.5" TF springs). Not a big fan of air bags. The TJ in the Colorado Campaign video on YouTube had them and somewhere along the line developed a leak. He had to refill them occasionally during the trip. To be honest, AEV may have the best 2.5" coil springs for expedition modded Jeeps that have to handle widely varying loads. You might make a few inquiries with folks who have that lift. And, of course, the OME that you mentioned--have not had the opportunity to see one of them up close.

BTW: Not a fan of the AEV relocation brackets for the control arms. I've also heard rumors that TF is working on a 2.5" expedition lift--perhaps to address the spring sag problem under heavy loads. You might also contact them.

I will contact tf. Love their products. Just need more height as I'm adding winch and bumpers and some armour to my rig.

Getting closer to our trip to Moab. Lift goes on this weekend, upgraded axle for the trailer with matching wheels next week and the RTT/Awning combo should arrive this Friday. Still have to finish installing lighting for the Jeep and we should be ready to go.

Your Jeep is going to look great after a bit of lift. What trailer is that by the way?

The trailer is the prototype Compact Dinoot that I purchased from Jeff Scherb. You can now buy a production model from the company.
