Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
Yea I looked into that too, I plan on doing that when I get the snorkel, which I probably should get. I saw that it isn't hard to extend them.
Here is one small stream crossing I did the other day while we were out with a group, no need for a snorkel in it but it's just an example.

This is bugging me......what tire rack is that with the jerry cans??!! That is by far sick as ****!!!! Very jelly!
That makes sense. Building for what we hope to do, mine is good for my area already without the snorkel as long as I'm careful, but I haven't always been careful and worry about hydro locking. I've had the entire hood under water/mud before and got lucky. It's tough building and getting everything you need put all together into one vehicle, we hope to take a short trip or something this summer to see how it all works out. I don't have a ton more money to put into it, I've put a lot into it already this year. It's a slow process.

Same for me. I've been building mine since 2009. When you have a full-time job and a full-time family it all too often has to take a back seat. Still, it's a fun project and every so often I have a season of doing things and ordering new stuff. Always something to look forward to. I mostly have larger stuff left to do now. The rear bumper, replacement roof rack... Problem for me is these things need to be ordered from the US. They end up costing me 2.5 times what they would cost me if I lived in the States.

I have friends in Canada. It's horrible that there is such a price difference from them getting stuff and myself getting the same thing. It's the shipping that is the worst part.

Someone living in the US could have bought both the front AND the rear bumper plus the winch for that and had change left over for a brewsky.
It is. I had just finished church and decided to get out and shoot some photos of nearby Lake Stanley Draper after the pretty good ice storm. I stopped actually just around the corner from my house, when just by coincidence caught a friend, James and Brandy, headed home from their church. James and Brandy drive the white Jeep JK and LR D90 you see in some of my videos. And are also into photography. Anyway, they tagged along and Brandy caught that as they were driving behind me. Truly an amazing shot. To give you an idea of the ice we had, here are a couple images I got that day ...
