I dropped my rig off today on the way home to get re-geared. I'm going with 4.56s and an eaton e-locker in the rear while staying open up front. I ultimately decided to stay open up front because I feel like most of the wheeling I will do would be possible as I was, open/open. I really only threw the locker in the back because I was re-gearing and I figured what the heck. I didn't feel like I could justify another $700 (800 - cost of open carrier) for something I don't think I'll use much at all. If I change my style (unlikely, don't want body damage) it'll only cost me $150 plus the hardware to add it later.

That said, what is the best way to route the cables into the cab? I was thinking yesterday about perhaps coming through the grommet at the rear driver side tail light like I did with my CB cable and running it with the light wires. I just don't really feel like there is a great place to come through the firewall up front. I can only find the two foam filled holes. I don't have the one behind the battery box, my box is hard plastic that won't move. I also don't really want to use the rugged ridge a pilar pod but also don't want to cut up my dash either. I know I don't have many other options for switch location.

On the driver side inside engine compartment there is a grommet that I believe the rear windshield washer goes through. That is where I put my sPOD cable. You might check that out. For autos, there is also a rubber plug where the clutch pedal would feed through.

Ordered my new tent for my trailer - James Baroud Espace Evolution - still frustrated over the cost (~4700 with shipping, exchange rate, duty and taxes)... but from what I could determine it's the best tent out there (of the clam shells). Good news is I already have a buyer for my old one. Also ordered my backup lights. Now just need to spend some time actually putting my crap on my jeep. Have lights, a LED bar, compressor, front dif skid and some new grab handles all laying around. Have also ordered a new DS and am looking into new brakes for all four corners.

Lights.

How do you like your interior rack? I was considering that option as well.

My gear installer called me at 945 last night saying I had the wrong e-locker. I got part number 19969-010 but need 19977-010. Not real happy about it but we'll see how the forum vender handles it.

Yeah it wasn't a great way to end the night. I talked to the company this morning though and they are taking care of it. I am being drop shipped the part overnight so I'm hoping to be setup by Saturday.

I plan to, just want to wait until everything is resolved before I speak.

Well got fed up waiting for CVT to get off their asses regarding my awning and walls (was a GB and cheap). Have been waiting for ~2 mths now. Said screw that and ordered an 2.5m 2000 series Eezi Awn. Significantly more expensive, but Eezi awn's cheaper awning (1000 series) doesn't have the option for walls, not sure why, but they won't work. So bit the bullet and placed the order for the awning (will likely get walls at a later date).
