Thanks! They are stout but made out of aluminum to save on weight. Really makes organization a lot easier. Pretty sure the tailgate could handle a small camp kitchen, perhaps even more if you installed the TF hinge kit. I would just be concerned with the food smells and smoke getting in the jeep cooking so close.

Finally got to pick up new popup. It's not an off-road warrior popup, but I have too much living cargo for that. I think it will suit us just fine. Tows great behind the Jeep.

Managed to get out last week to Southern Utah. I wheeled on Wednesday with a friend in Moab (Hells Revenge and Fins and Things) then met up with another group and headed south into the back country for the rest of the week. It was a great time, we saw some really neat ruins and very impressive panoramas. Just makes me want to get back down there sooner rather than later.

Thanks I got them here locally in Issaquah wa expedition gear shop dasmule.com

The name of the boxes are Kryptlocker, manufactured in Idaho. No rattle to date, but I do have mine packed pretty good, I imagine the metal dividers could rattle if there was nothing in the boxes. Best part is they are sealed against moisture and dust, and a fraction. Of the weight of those other boxes. Their prices aren't correct on the website, I think they were around 9ish for the big boxes and 7 ish for the half size. The smaller box I have mounted on top is brand new, so they may not have it on their website yet. I got the first one
