I just found this thread and it is awesome! I live in Oklahoma so, there isn't a lot of wheeling to do around here unless you like driving around in a mud pit somewhere. Everything is privately owned. I'm on my third Jeep now and it's a 2015 Unlimited Rubicon. I bought it back in November and have been building it to be an expedition style rig. This Jeep is great. It is easy and comfortable for the long drives to get away from Oklahoma to go wheeling! I can also load up the family and camping gear too. So far, I've only been doing trails in SE Oklahoma and in Arkansas. We are headed to SW Colorado for nine days though and leaving on Saturday! I can't wait. I'm planning to go again in August and then out to Moab this fall when it cools off. Then Death Valley in March! I have a 3.5" Metalcloak ARB edition lift on here with Old Man Emu shocks and progressive rate springs. I LOVE the lift. The tires are 35" BFG KM2 Mud Terrains on 17" Mickey Thompson Sidebiter II wheels. The bumpers are both made by LOD and they are top notch quality. The rear is a full width and the front is a mid width. The winch is a Warn Zeon 10-S. I can't seem to get this Jeep stuck though so I've only used the winch to help others out of jams. The light bar on the front is a 17" Cree bar I bought off of Amazon. It works great! I love this Jeep and have already put 13,000 miles on it in the seven months I've owned it. I also installed everything myself. This thread is like Jeep porn for me. Lots of great ideas!

Nice Jeep! I am also from Oklahoma. There is a small group of us that take trips together. If you have notice Mark Dorion earlier in this thread... He is part of our group. We always welcome others to join.

Awesome! I sent him a message earlier. I see that you live in Duncan. I drive through there occasionally when I go hog hunting down at Waurika Lake. Where do you guys take trips to? There's a small group of us that met through Red Dirt Jeeps and we like to go do trails instead of running around the local mud pit. I've done the K-Trail quite a few times and have been out to the High Watermark in Arkansas. Colorado this weekend and all next week though! Can't wait!

Hey thanks it was actually Not as bad as it looks: the keg was empty at that point as well as the fuel cans. I maybe had 300lbs up on top.

We have done the K-trail, trails in Arkansas, Colorado, Mojave trail. And next week we are headed to the Grand Staircase area. Some of our group have gone to Big Bend a few times... I need to go on the next trip there. Have a good time in Colorado!

Quick dump of a few pics from Washington Backcountry Discovery Route. We drove from Hood River, OR to Nighthawk Crossing at the Canadian border. Awesome trail (612 miles); every overlander should do ...
