Sounds good! I'll be waiting in anticipation!

Part 2 of the WABDR series is now online. It covers the second day of our trip, from a campsite in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, around Rimrock Lake, over Bethel Ridge and to a campsite on Clemen Mountain. The music is "Country Fried" by Josh Kirsch. It was made available through the YouTube Music Library.

could use a bit of advice or help, on my last couple of trips, I noticed that my back starts hurting after about 6-7 hours of driving. I hate the seating position in the right seat worst, it seems like there is less room. so has anyone done anything to make their seat more comfortable? and if so what?

I try not to drive 6-7 hours... Seriously, I really try that. Getting out and walking around, taking a hike, going for a swim - something active.

Yes, I've made my 1,000 mile days behind the wheel, but I don't have to enjoy them!

As to modifying the interior/seats, I dunno. It's a Jeep. Somebody makes something for it.

Regards, CW

Thanks for the input

Found some aftermarket seats, but not sure how much they will help and so far nothing else.

I know its a Jeep and not made for longer trips, but right now I am planning more of them than short trips.

I'm going to get the TrekArmor seat covers, and they include a pocket you can put a lumbar support into. Seems the cheapest way to go, other than replacing the seats.

Yeah - sorry I didn't have any better input for ya. Love my Jeep. Find it real comfortable, but... have made several long trips in it, and I'd have rather been in something else for the long highway miles.

So, I really do try to break it up into smaller chunks of time on the road. It works for me - but might not fit some schedules, I understand.

Best of luck, CW

I have put thousands of miles on mine at times and the biggest improvement I have noticed was my Smitybilt neoprene covers. Just enough added cushion to help. It may work for you perhaps?
