Default All around tires

I have B F Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2 on my JKU and they are just awful on wet pavement and even worse in snow. Any suggestions for a tire that can handle rain, and snow as well as sand? Living in Utah I 4 wheel quite a bit but I am not into the big rock crawling kind of stuff. Fins and Things is as much as I do in the the rock crawling department. I'm into photography and use my Jeep more to find interesting things to take pictures of. I do drive over some sandy areas at times as well which the MT''s handle but now that winter has arrived the MT's have got to go.

I have the center section of my mud-tires "siped" - cut with a bunch of tiny slits across the tread - it really helps them in the winter. Been doing this for many years now. Many tire shops can do this, though they prefer to do it on new tires.

Agree, most standard "mud tires" are not so hot on ice and snow...

I have had excellent results from BFG All Terrain tires on a couple of different 4x4 rigs over the years, in the snow.

Have seen that in general, the all-terrain type tires do a credible job on snow.

Take a look at the TRXUS MT's from Interco tires . They are nice quiet and smooth on the highway and are phenomenal off highway, rain, snow, mud, rocks and snow. Great all around tire. Sent from my iPhone using JK-Forum
