Unexpectedly got out this weekend when a group of us Okie Jeepers learned that one of us had been stuck all night out at the Canadian River near Hinton, OK. We got four of us together to go out and rescue him, but by the time we arrived another group had just finished the recovery. So, we decided to go play along the river. It would be a short expedition, but we still spent a half a day exploring the area. There's an interesting ghost town at Bridgeport that we drove right near, so maybe on another trip in the very near future we'll return and investigate it in greater detail. Here's a video with stills and video set to music.

Very cool video. That's a secret honey hole right there. Looks like a great place for a little fun!

Do you know if the white Unlimited is running spacers with the Mopar wheels?

That White Unlimited with the White Mopar Winter Wheels looks amazing. I love that vintage look.

That fellow gets a lot of appreciation for that white Unlimited (just read through the more recent pages of this thread to see what I mean!). Actually, it belongs to his wife. He is the fellow in near the end of the video (at the restaurant) wearing the Land Rover hat. This is his own vehicle (and, in case you are unaware, these are quite rare in the U.S.), a LR Defender D90:

For the record, the wheels on his wife's Jeep are from an old Cherokee spare tire. They are 5x5, but the offset was made it necessary to use spacers. It took him forever to gather up five of these spare tire wheels, and then he had them powdercoated. It is definitely a unique look. Very classic.
