What was done to your JK this week?
Installed the Olympic Mountaineer rack in the trunk area of my 2012 4d. Final result is good, but it took almost 3 months to get and came without instructions and, AFAIK, wrong/missing hardware. A few trips to Lowes replaced the nuts and bolts.
Continued the 5+ year effort to clean and organize my shop... Almost there!

Added windshield brackets and Rigid industries Dually spots. Hung the highlift on the LOD tire rack. Added polyfill and kickers to the soundbar.Next project is to fab a bracket to hang a Rotopax gas cell on the tirerack.

After finding out AEV's third brake light won't work with the Black Rock wheels I have, I needed to do/buy something else. The result, piggy-backing on an idea in another forum, turned out well.
Basically, I cut the OEM light housing off of the stock stalk, cleaned it up with a file, and mounted it to some L-bracket I had laying around. Then sprayed the joined pieces and the u-bolt with a few coats of Rust-oleum Truck Bed Coating. Lengthened the wiring, butt spliced the end and heat-shrinked the joints and finished it off with wiring loom. Job done.
