Finally got sick of constantly trying to get the fenders to stay black. So I bed lined (spray can) the fenders and called it good. I did my grill a few years ago with the same stuff and it looks the same as the day it was sprayed so I felt comfortable.

Rustoleum (spelling?). I did my grill a few years ago and my windshield cowl about a year and a half ago. Both still look brand new. I'm going to do the bumpers soon enough too. I don't understand why Jeep doesn't upgrade the plastic so this isn't necessary.

On my grill and windshield cowl I removed, sanded, washed and used alcohol. After reading a few posts on painting the fenders I did what others did. I didn't remove them (mostly because it looked to be a pita) and just scrubbed them very hard, washed, and used alcohol on them before spraying.

The only thing that worries me is the flexibility of the fenders. My fenders are trimmed, they move alittle more. Wondering if it would chip off.

Just plastidipped a white trim on my wheels to change up the look. I like it! I'll post more pics in the day light tomorrow.
