What was done to your JK this week?
I really like this! I always hate leaving my windows home and that's a great solution. Wanna make another one? Lol.
I usually only have the top of my Trektop installed since I live in the desert. But in that off chance of rain, I wanted to be able to store my windows in the Jeep but out of the way. So I made a window roll for my Trektop windows that fits under the rear seat. There is a layer of fleece between the windows and the exterior is a plastic lined "duck cloth" to keep moisture and dirt from the windows. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=669083"/> <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=669084"/> <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=669085"/> I used 550 cord on each end to cinch them up. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=669087"/> It fits very nicely under the rear seat. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=669086"/>
I took the stock ignition Jeep JK key and transferred its internals into a switch blade style flip key I got off of Ebay. Took about 10 minutes. After that I went to the local Ace Hardware Store to get it cut. Love the fact that when the keys are in my pocket now I no longer get poked. I also took my household keys and organized them into the "REYO" key keeper.
