On any other vehicle I'd say 2dr and my wife would say 4dr, but on the JK she had to have a 2dr. I like the 2dr, but it's pretty impractical for us in a lot of ways. I don't see it going anywhere though.

I love my 2 door. To me a JEEP is 2 doors and stick shift. cargo? I'll haul a trailer and leave it at camp.

Amen Scottrock! A Jeep is a 2-dr stick-shift go-anywhere machine! I just have no need for a 4-dr, cargo? I can get a trailer!

I have the 2dr and agree the 2dr is the best but I have a 3 year old and the 4 door would be alot easier with him

Default 2 door or 4 door??

im just curious why some people prefer 2 door jeeps and others prefer 4 doors?

is the 2 door jeeps more for younger crowds?
and 4 door jeeps, more for the family crowds?

or is one better off road then the other?

I always thought the 2-door WAS the image of the Jeep as it was the staple of Jeepdom for many decades. I did not need the extra cargo room or more doors, I liked the "sporty feel" of the 2-door, the 4-door reminds me of an SUV.

I prefer the Unlimited, because of the look: BIGGER, and more agressive

I really like my 2dr Rubicon, however a longer wheelbase for towing would be nice so i might if doing it again might have gotton a 4dr Rubi.

But I have no regrets and it does tow ok.

I've driven extended cab trucks for quite a few years now, and miss the zippiness of a short wheel base. I still have yet to find anywhere to take it off road around here, but I've had a hell of a time on the pavement so far.
