Thanks for the list ormandj. I was so pissed the dealer didn't know what the code meant that I must have forgotten what the second letter was. I will have to bug him again today.

 

My dealer has a history of misleading me. Yanked my around for over a week letting me think that he had a Dealer Exchange line up for the Crush I wanted. Finally the truth came out when they had no luck. So I don't really trust them. However, they gave me the best deal and I ordered a Crush on 11/4 now 11 days later they tell me it is in BX status, is there anyway to comform this?
How long recently has it been taking for the various stages?

 

My signature has the details on my order/dates. I ordered on the 4th of October, and still don't have my Jeep. Most people I've seen report, it's been a 6-8 week process from order to Jeep arrival. I'm still in I status as of today (the 15th of Nov.) - how long does it take to inspect a vehicle? This wait is annoying.

thats about it...be patient guys. There is a bit of lag between whats really happening and what the VOTS/insight shows...no rhyme or reason of how its delayed either. GL to you all!

 

As luck would have it, shortly after posting this, my Dealer called!
D1 with a ship date of 11/21 and delivery within 2 weeks after that.

If this holds true, I'm looking at 4 or 5 weeks at the most from order to delivery.

ordered a 2012 JKUR on 11/5 and still haven't received a VON or VON, does anyone know how long it take to get these numbers after the initial order? TIA

 

You should have gotten your Von the day of the order. Call your salesperson for it. Then call 1800iamjeep with the Von and they will supply you with the vim if it is ready. I can take a few weeks.

 

Thanks notsoricer, I called the dealer and was given a VON then called 877-IAMJEEP and was told they do not have the order number in their system yet. So I'm sort of confused how the dealership has it but not the manufacturer, I guess time will tell.

 

The people at jeep can't tell you anything until your car is given a vin which I believe is d or d1 status. They won't have any information until then. Check every day!
