12 Rubicon Unlimited-$33570
Automatic- $1125
CPP24r
Black Clear Coat
Cloth Seats
Heated Seats- $250
Duel Tops- $1625
Connectivity Group - $383
Destination-$800

Total MSRP- $37755 plus TTL

Dealer offer or FFP- $35058 plus TTL

Is this a good deal?

Also lists EP- $33716. What is this?

I think you were in a 3.73. That comes with the Automatic. I just looked it up on the brochure. That's good news though.

You want to get 1% under the invoice which is the FFP (friends and family price), but to get FFP you need to be affiliated with them. Easiest way is to either work with an affiliation with Chrysler or do what I did and pay $60 to become a member of Tread Lightly. It would be hard to get EP (Employee Price). I tried and they dealer said they would be losing money yada yada yada and that they don't even get it. Aparently you need to work for Chrysler to get that. Like corporate. You might also see "Hold Back" that's the amount of money Chrysler sends that dealer for selling that car. HB is also negotiable. Just don't pay MSRP.

I rode my motorcyle over to the Jeep Dealer in Naperville Illinois today.
There were about ten 2012 Unlimiteds sitting on the lot. Since is it Naperville, they were ALL Sahara's or Rubi's.

I didn't like the white at first....but someone had posted about the "stormtrooper" look of a white Sahara. I have to say....the all white (white tip and white fenders) looked kinda neat. Much better than I expected.

Used to, but not anymore. The default ratio is 3.21. You have to opt for the 3.73 specifically. That said, the experience that he was describing sounds like the 3.21 based on my seat-of-the-pants in my 2012 2-dr Sport. Contrary to conventional wisdom (based on the 2007-2011s), the 20% lower-geared auto pulls just fine with the 3.21. In fact, a 2012 3.21 is geared lower overall than a 2011 3.73, with more bhp and a flatter torque curve. I was expecting my (caught in the gearing snafu) 3.21 to be anemic - it's anything but. I'm adding 35s today and expect that I may regear to 4.10, but it may just drive fine for daily driving as is. [mine is for snow driving; no offroad]. The days of 4.88/5.13 on autos is over - way to busy on road.

Anyone else with real world 2012 3.21 experience? Please chime in.

Why does it say 3.73 in the brochure? How can I tell my dealer where to check if it does. The window sticker doesn't say.

Yeah, black trim looks MUCH better than a single color all around! (even if you don't get dozer)

Wow...I really like that Dozer color. I don't like the matching top and fenders. But I think it would look real good with a black top and black fenders.

What brochure? I don't think that there is a 2012 brochure. The 2011's came stock with 3.73, but 2012's have 3.21 stock. Are you looking at a 2011 brochure?

replace the space with a "t"

It's under "Selected Features and Options" in the Wrangler part

Default Oil Filters for Pentastar

Just ordered WIX oil filters for the Pentastar (#57144) from Filter1.com - $4.52. I don't know if they are any good but this i the best price I have found for the cartridges.

Just picked up my 2012 Rubicon. Here are pics of my 08 and 12 side by side along with both engine shots.
