Any regrets on parts??
My turn to write in this thread. I've been reading this thread for two years and it's nice to see what not to do.
So the Rough Country 3.25" lift kit.
First, let me tell you what I liked. The customer service was good. I was missing a piece in one of the sealed bags, called them, and, bam, the piece was on my doorstep. Also, the instructions were good enough to get it installed by myself.
What I didn't like was the hydraulic shocks. I installed this with the stock tires and it rode very rough on the street. Nothing in my research told me this would be the case. The shocks and springs performed very well off-road, but when driving down the street even the smallest crack was felt inside. I replaced the hydraulic shocks with gas shocks and it was immediately smoother and more comfortable when on-street.
So I am looking for a new lift kit.

These were horrible. They add a nice thick pad, covered in vinyl, that ends with a nice big ridge, right on your funny bone! The first bump I hit, I nearly went through the roof, then I nearly ripped them off the doors. They're on a shelf now, and a piece of pipe foam is stuck to my door handle instead (way better). Did noone at Mitsch ever SIT in the Jeep with these on??!

I just installed these and they have been fantastic on the highway as my arms used to get tired without any arm rest on that side. They aren't exactly soft it that's what you are getting at but being able to slide them forward or back allows you to place them exactly where you want. I have really enjoyed mine thus far.

As of yesterday the Bestop instatrunk.
received it witha bent corner (shipper fault) but the inside of it was only half powder coated and the welds had surface rust on them already.
The fittment is sad, it seems as if they drew up the idea then sent it out to China to be made as cheaply as possible and never built tested.
So I sprayed the inside, added a rubber matting to the top and installed it the best I could with all the huge gaps and wasted space on all sides.
Gonna just make one myself soon.

Not sure if regret or buyers remorse. Orded front and rear bumpers from LOD on 01-06-11 and 01-08-11. I have sent two emails, called at 12:45 p.m. and left one voice mail message requesting date to expect delivery........ NO response.
Absolutely the biggest regret were the craptastic Bushwacker Pocketflares that came on my Rubicon as a dealer add on. Too big, too ugly, broke one off the jeep within 24 hrs after I left the dealer lot on the JK's first outing. When the tire flexed upward, it broke the front passenger side and was too bad to repair.
