Not sure how long it takes from D1 until you have it in your driveway. I bet yours is ready to change too. Our status dates are tracking pretty close so far.

I can only hope....let us know when your build date is , that way we can get a idea of how long after going to D1 the wait might be....hopefully since it sounds like DC is all messed up that going to D1 and getting actualy built is'nt another 1 month wait till the next move up in status.

Well, I drove the two hours to my dealer today, just to check on their inventory, and meet my Saleman since he wasn't returning any emails.
Salesman has been gone on family-matters for 3 weeks now. I talked to the sales manager and he graciously checked my order again on his computer. I was afraid I might have moved back to BG status, but was shocked to hear I'm now in D status and I got my VIN today. To celebrate, I went to Sears and blew $350 on more tools, including a cutting wheel to trim my factory Rock Bars to make room for 35" tires.
Does anyone know how to break down the VIN number? I've got a VIN of 7L138945. I know the 138945 is the sequence production number, but not sure on the 7 or L. There should be several other digits as well. Does anyone know a web site that breaks down the 07 JK VIN?

Congrats. Your news inspired me to call for a my status today hoping I moved to D as well but I got the news YOU were expecting, I'm back to BG status !!!
This sucks. Doesn't help my chances for a December build.
