Not my cup of tea Good luck on your citation & chuck this one up to a lesson learned from the cops & most especially your fellow jeepers

Should have been tased and then kicked in the ribs as he squirmed and then the lights beat to hell with a night stick. So just a ticket seems like a small price to pay

I was going to say how stupid they look, but I think you have already been told. In any case plead not guilty and talk to the judge.

On second thought just saw the other video you have about these on your porfile. They are incredibly annoying and you deserve what you got. For others here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWvlG9BX0R4

ALSO: TURN OFF THE FOG LIGHTS WHEN IT IS NOT FOGGY OR OFF ROAD. They are annoying and a hazard in there own right.

I never like people who are guilty and get caught thinking it's okay to plead not guilty. That slows down the courts and makes it tough for others to work through serious issues. Pay your ticket and save the wheel theatrics for car shows or parking lots with your friends. If you get stopped again, they will throw the book at you.

Chris: He can do what ever he wants with his Jeep - within the law. Once he socially detours from that he's fair game. Maybe add an OOgah horn and fuzzy dice to go with the wheels? I don't think they look bad, but they (IMHO) don't belong on a Jeep.

While waiting for court ( my court date is in November ), I made a new set of wheels sporting 592nm (definitely amber) LEDs and that are twice as bright as my old ones. As far as what else I have in my garage is concerned -- right now it's two 1988 Peugeot 505 Turbos.

Thanks for those of you who complimented me on my hard work. For you haters, to each his own.

And, for the record, socialdetour.com isn't what I'd consider to be a social networking site. It's a site where any user can create their own forum/community site, and secure it to the point where if you don't have an approved email address, users can't tell that it even exists. It also sports a powerful API, capable of powering other sites entirely -- see www.usfbs.com for an example.

I don't know what was specificly said when this gentileman was stopped by the officer. If there any attitiude problems or what. The officer could have told him to turn the lights off and give him a warning. But since he gave a ticket, then it is up to the officer to appear in court and prove him guilty.

I can't believe anybody would just "pay the ticket" in these times when everybody is trying to get a piece of us moneywise.

If they don't want slow down the courts, then stop giving out tickets for such minor infractions. Then they will have time to work through the serious issues.

You give me a ticket for anything and I'll see you in court.
