I have a 4" lift, maybe that's the cause of me looking like a drunk driver, my jeep wonders all over the road. Drives me nuts! Bringing it to the dealer tomorrow

When the hard top is on for Winter months, my two teenage kids hit everything but the lottery when getting into the rear seat from the narrow passenger seat opening on my 09 two door. The other months they just fling their packs over the tailgate and climb up from the tire. My knee always rests against my window handle at my proper seat adjustment..., so I can see the red lights change lol. Finally every time i try to open my locked center console with the key, it's like my first date all over again...

Those automatic door locks, they sneak up on me sometimes and get me real good. I can sometimes go a couple miles without engaging them if I'm light on the throttle, especially in the morning, half asleep, or deep in thought, usually with the radio off.

KACLACK!!!!!

I've had to peel myself off the ceiling a couple of times because I'm not expecting it, and they aren't exactly quiet or subtle when they engage at 20% throttle or whatever. Every other vehicle I own and have driven with automatic door locks engages at 5 or 15mph, so they engage at a routine and expected time. Nope, not the Jeep.

Also, the drip rail design for the roof. It's either soaking the rocker and floor, or pissing straight into my lap as I'm getting in/out of the Jeep with the door open. FFS!

Needing a second job to pay for more mods.... It's soon time to put in applications!!

Oh and the single digit temps, when is it top down season??? Can't wait for summer! But it is nice to have the jeep in the shitty weather.
Time to go wash the salt off again!!!

Have a different problem with the seat belt buckle. More often then not, when I'm getting into the Jeep, the buckle jabs me in the back because it is looped over the left corner of the seat. Doesn't hang in the doorway as some have complained about. And I can't seem to make it stay along the outer edge of the seat.

I only wave to Jeep owners who have the Jeep wave decal. Maybe its where I live but there are too many douche bags on the road. Telling someone they have a nice Jeep can make their heads bigger.

No, I'm pretty sure douche bag drivers are ubiquitous, and not just where you live.

Jeep Pet Peeves, reloaded: People who read too much into the wave. I wave all the time-- Dude, I'm like that dork sitting in the front of the school bus, waving to whomever and whatever, everything, out the window. People flip me off, whatevs, I keep waving. In the Jeep world, I take it to mean "Hey from the Jeep Mafia" or "thanks for not driving a Prius, at least." Nothing personal about it! I even wave at other Jeepers through the window of my little commuter car.
