I love my 4 door! I wave at all jeeps, and i don't care if they wave back or not. But i did notice that i do get more waves with the mods. I've always wanted a jeep growing up, but always told that it wasn't practical since it's got no room in the back. Well, the 4 doors came out...so i said "kiss my a$$...IM GETTING A JEEP!!!"

The day I get a JK will be the first day I take out my Jeep topless and doorless. Only time I would have doors on is rain, over night, or going to school (mainly because people would throw stuff in there if I had no doors).

I have 2 kids (6 and 1) and I have the top down as much as possible and have driven around with the doors off the front and the 2 kids in the back!

Nothing better than that and my daughter can't wait till she is old enough so I can take her doors off!

To the guy that said that 4 door Jeeps are for posers......i see some 2 door owners as posers too! It all depends on the driver!

I have a 4 door so I can take the family out....my daughter loves it when I go offroading and always asks to go out!

i think a big part of the "jeep thing" is understanding that not all owners are off-roaders, but you should still accept them as part of the family.

.......just like the people in your family don't all have the same views and don't all share the same hobbies. you still take pride in what you have in common and realize that you'll never all be exactly the same.

just because I dont go and due hardcore wheeling doesn't make me any less of a jeeper then the hard core guys. I love the jeep, I love the wave, it truely is part of a brotherhood. However there are those who have jeeps and just dont realize what they have, I feel sorry for em. I catch hell all the time cause I am about to rip my brand new jeep (got her in feb) apart and mod it.

I couldn't agree more, and I know I ignore stock jeeps But here is the catch, I live in New Mexico, with 340 days of sunshine and warm desert weather. So, if you drive any type of convertible with the top up, you are a strait poser. I used to have a hard top, and understood what a pain it was with my YJ to take it off, and we do het 100 degree weather here during the summer, so I can see why it can be seen as a pain.

However, I remember the second I took my doors and top off my YJ, I knew, that was the only way to go, I was hooked.

So, now I have a four door with half doors, a nice compromise, but this time I refused to bye a bikini, kind of thought it defeated the purpose (so that AC comes in real nice when I am at a stop).

So yes, if a stock JK with its top up and or doors on does not wave, they are ignored. However, if the have the top on and the doors, but "get it and wave" I am MORE than happy to return the favor.

Just my insight. But lets keep the wave alive
