i always see 4dr jk's with it all closed up on a really nice summer day its like WTF??, and i wave to everyone and out of 10 i might get like 3 return waves. When i bought my jeep the dealer that i bought from drilled it into my head that i have to wave at other jeepers and told me i must go off roading. maybe more dealers should do that, they even had the roof down on there test drive jeep and it was in october, i take my doors and roof off as much as possible and get looks from the closed up ones lol
LOL, I figured as much but you can never be too careful - especially when a MOD is involved.

And uh, racer that would be called HER out on the Cavalier loving. And just so you and 2k2wrangler know, it was a FABULOUS car.
My first. And I will accept NO TRASHING OF THE CAVALIER!!!

I'm not sure how to go about "manning up" actually....

I am sure there are some people that own 2 doors that are not so called "Jeepers", but I still wave to them.

Having issues with people's reaction to your particular brand of Jeeping may say more about you and your own issues rather than theirs.

There's a whole lot of judgment going on that doesn't seem very "jeep like".

You guys (and gals) have completely missed the point of my post. I wasn't dissing the guy for not having his doors off. Reread the original post - HE was dissing ME for HAVING my doors off. I don't give a rats patootie whether or not he takes his doors off, or goes off road, or ever removes his hard top. I feel sorry for him, because I think he's missing a good part of the fun of owning a Jeep, but it makes no difference to me either way - I'll still have a blast in mine. I only mentioned the fact that he was wearing a hard top and windows in order to set the scene, and perhaps give a hint as to why he would make such a comment about a Jeep that was treated so very differently from his.
My point was that the guy was putting ME down for MY choice of how to drive MY Jeep. THAT is very un-Jeep-like, and it makes me sad that people like that are out there. Those who choose to be a part of this family (and show it by returning a wave, and by accepting others choices for what they are) are ok in my book. Those who exclude themselves from the Jeep family, either deliberately, or through ignorance, have my sympathy.
So there.
