I didn't order from Quadratec. I had placed an order with Northridge (free shipping) but it had been a month and they were backordered there as well. I contacted Quadratec, they told me they were on backorder. I got tired of not carrying a spare, so I looked and found them on Amazon.

Sorry for any confusion, but I didn't get them from Quadratec. They didn't fill my order any faster.

But I will say that I have never had a problem in my dozen or so orders from them. Everything in stock, and delivered within two days (east coast). They even have my orders from 10 years ago on my TJ in the system.

 

I ordered a yakima rack that was backordered before X-Mas. Still came within a week....

 

I greatly appreciate you guys reply to our posts...it shows me you care about you're customers. I know not all systems are perfect. My order number is W17268610000 and I would really appreciate any update on my remaining / missing order. I would like to say my wife ordered this within the month of December and we both realized that this might happen. Thanks again for your presence here on the forums.

 

Yea girlfriend ordered me some stuff for Christmas but it's all on back order.

 

I won't order from Quadratec anymore either. I used to order about everything through them, easy $2-3k worth of stuff.

Recently, and it WASN'T Christmas time everything I ordered was on backorder - like the last 3 orders . Like others said - they can indicate their stock just like any other company.

With their higher prices, lack of stock, and expensive shipping - what is the point?

Getting attention on this board is nice, but I would rather have the product in my hands.

But I DO love their catalog - lets me know what I need from Amazon or Northridge.

 

Interesting. I have ordered a dozen or so items over the last few years from Quadratec. All were apparently in stock and shipped promptly.

 

Quadratec is awesome. One of the best IMO. Always fast to ship. If there is a problem they fix it right away. Dont blame the company for a high supply and demand time. Try 4wd and see if they give you the same customer service. I think not. Not even close to Quadratec's awesome customer service. Quadratec is an awesome company and you should give them a chance before bashing them on a forum.

 

Every time I have ordered something from them it has shown up on time if not a day early. That being said the last order I placed early this month was backordered but it was due to Mickey Thompson not being able to keep up with the high deemand of their wheels, not quadratec at all, but Quadratec was still able to give me a projected ship date.

I have found it is just good habit to always chat with Quadratec Customer Service online before I place an order that way I am never upset if something is behind or backordered. Sometimes systems just cannot be kept 100% up to date with orders coming in by the minute. I always just quickly ask if that part # is instock and ready to ship. if so, then I place the order, if not I take my chances or wait til its in. Seems simple enough to me.
