Is the evap canister orientation sensitive, or in other words, can it be mounted on it's side, or at an angle and it work properly?

Must be mounted in the same position.

Default Bill from Dealer?

Sounds like a nice alternative (got mine in Dec)...at least as the warranty goes. It seems simple enough, but I'm not typically a wrencher Just curious to see what the dealer charged??

PM me if you have any questions. I'm pretty sure you won't, it's really simple.

im doing this right now, its all set in the right location and i followed the OP to the T the only thing im having problems with are getting the air line to bend nicely, it just keeps kinking up on me, no way am i taking a heat gun to it. should i just go get some more flexible hose from autozone or something... what size/ fittings do i need?

Default evap

I used a blow dryer and patience on mine, it still has one kink in it but I havent had any problems so I am considering it good.

nvm i got it, 3/8 hose, i only needed to replace the hose coming from the top of the tank.

This was super easy, im lifted too and checked the clearance for the pumpkin smashing the EVAP, and the only way i can see it happening is if i jump the thing.

Thanks for the write up

That's cool, glad it worked for you. As for the line kinking it still lets airflow/vapors past and wouldn't have given you any trouble but an oz. of prevention is worth a # of cure.
