I just did mine this morning. I held mine up with a flashlight though. I put my switch right next to where your is, below the outlet that I don't have. I also used a push button switch. In is on, out is off. I can do donuts in the dirt now. Love it.

Well, its worked flawless for me so far. No issues at all.
Its nice to actually be able to whip a shitty again. And it surely dosnt take much to get it to swing around when you engage the rear locker in two high

I cant believe Jeep dosnt have a shut off switch (well, "100% off anytime" switch anyway) right from the factory. Sure, it is totally off in 4 low, but all too often there is a scenario in 4 hi or 2 wheel that you dont want that bull-shit kicking on.
I know there is the steering wheel dane that can be done, but that is just plain dumb. If you actually do get it to turn off, getting it to turn back on would be a second stroke of pure luck. And, honestly, I like the system on while drving on the highway (especially with snow covered roads).
The switch makes perfect sense.

It doesn't completely turn off until ur in 4 low I believe, other than that when u hit the button under ur heat its definitely not completely off its something like 60/40 or something..... Somebody help me out here..... When u add the switch or do the steering wheel dance is the only way to turn it completely off....
By the way to the OP great write up! I'll be installing one soon!
