Looks damn good, maybe ever so slightly deep looking at the first and last pattern, which is desirable. Back lash appears to be good judging by the drive being biased to the toe side and the coast centred.

Here's my used 4.10 install on my front dana 30. Contact pattern is slightly towards the top to the tooth, but this was the best pattern I was able to achieve with the used set. I'm set at .005 to .006 backlash. Pinion depth was set with stock shim from my original pinion. So ill test it out and see how it holds up. My rear install has been fine with no issues for close to 2,000 miles or so now.

I think you might want to try increasing pinion depth by adding shims to the pinion. This most likely will reduce backlash and you will need to adjust backlash again. That should move the contact pattern deeper into the tooth. I would be a little worried running on the top of the tooth. Your not going to know you have a problem until your in 4wd and trying to power up or over something. That's when the front ring and pinion will let loose.

Sorry, forgot one thing. What does the drive side of the tooth look like? Your picture is of the coast side.

It's a used gear set, drive looks similar. It's hard to get a nice looking pattern on the used ring gear, painted it again and looked to be more centered. Drove it in 4x4 on some decent dirt roads and rock, no noise or issue.

On a new set I wouldn't like the pattern, but that was the best pattern I could come up with without having it be completely off the top of gear with no paint at all, or running off the heal or toe.
