I just got the magic blinkers for the side marker led lights.

I have the gorecon front and side leds...with load resistors installed on the front blinkers.

My question is, do i need to get load resistors for the side marker lights to install with the magic blinkers??? or will tapping into the front blinkers after the the load resistor be enough to stop the fast flash on both the front and side lights???

to add- it is a 6 ohm 50 watt resistor on the front blinkers

Default Works

I should get an insurance discount for this and Stern et. al. should get some sort of Peace Prize for figuring it out. Just did it at 0132 in the morning at work in about 15 minutes. This includes taking the grill off, stripping the looms, tapping the wires together with a scotch, and taping it back up. Worked first time, as all mods do, right? Right?

I did mine a couple weeks ago but soldered instead of scotch clip. The salty roads in the winter up here would have made short work of the clips!

Just did it! Took about 30 minutes and I didn't pull the grill. I used some heat shrink on the connections also, (extra protection!).

Thanks for the great, easy & cheap mod!

Another simple mod that I'll be doing tonight - why the factory did not wire these lights this way is beyond me. Makes so much more sense. Thanks for the write-ups guys!

Did mine this morning, works great! Easiest mod I've ever done; in fact it was so easy it worried me. Thanks for the write up!

If you don't want the fast flash you will still need the Load Resistors. I personally like the fast flash it catches the other drivers attention.
