Maybe so dsy, but your's was in English. I printed out the Stern sheet a LONG time ago, but had a tough time figuring it out. I could be an idiot, but I got it done with your help. Thanks to both of you.

Since I disabled my horn beep on lock, I love how I can now see the marker lights flash on lock from the side of the truck as I walk away.

So what is the best way to connect the two wires? Quick Connect, solder, old school twist and wire nut, shrink

I'm a newbie to this and what it done right. Sorry for the lame questions
More wire is not needed. A wire tap works best it connects the cut wire to the wire you are conncting to without cutting both. Home Depot, Lowes , Ace or any auto parts store will have them just ask.

I used more wire, about 7 inches, of 16 gauge. I did this so that I could run the wires totally within the existing black plastic wiring sheath. I used this with a quick splice connector with the flip top cover.

I agree, I really wonder what Jeep was thinking by NOT making these signals too. Seems like the safty factor alone is well worth a thought.
