Check out the Dennis Kirk catalog and they have them in little pods for motorcycles i had them on a bike. the look great and they are a bit smaller then the stip. just another option as this just hit my to do list. I am used to lots of ambient lighting running small boats at night.

Bought the lights from the 'bay and cut out the little controller that came with them so I could get them all to light the same. 18 LEDs per bar x 4 bars.
I LIKE IT!
Where did you get them?

Default Two Tone

I have been looking into replacing/adding interior lighting for my jeep and wanted your guys' opinions.

Basically, I wanted to do two colors, green for instruments and red for dome and courtesy lights.

I'm thinking of putting white glow gauge covers in the instrument panel and replacing the backlighting with green bulbs. Also want to put a green LED strip over the A/C controls to illuminate the shifters, cup holders, much like in earlier posts.

When I open the doors or turn on the dome lights, I want a much brighter, dark red. I'd replace the dome lights and add red LED stripes under the dash and front seats.

Basically I'm concerned that after all the effort it ends up looking like a bag of poopey. Has anyone attempted a two tone lighting solution?

Thoughts? And yes, I'm aware its Xmas colors.

Can't say i have even thought of it. If you do head out into uncharted waters, take your time and don't cut corners. Get the right parts to do the job and things should turn out great. Best of luck to you and post pics once its done.

Red or blue - I can't decide!!! I guess I'll go red to match the Jeep, but I really love the blue LEDs...
