With the full suspension lift, what rear track bar would you recomend?

 

Northridge shows a pkg deal on their site with this lift and the Full Tracktion Adj. track bars. I'm seriously leaning to this but may wait till I can get the cash to buy bigger tires to. Currently running 32's and am afraid this might be a bit much and make my tires look puny.

 

Does this limit your flex (#2)? If so, how radically?

 

I can tell you from my experience, the install is very easy straight forward, and the ride on the new springs and shocks is far superior to the stock ride. Has made me a believer.

I was a little suprised by the additional lift reveived, closer to 3.5 inches and not much settleing since install Late November.

I installed adjustable track bar in the front a BDS relocation bracket in the rear.

I also installed JKS adjustabel quick disconnects in the front and adjustable sway bar links, mainly to bring everythin back in line.


Great writeup on ths install. This is a kit anyone can install in their own garage / driveway.

 

This seems to be a very nice kit. Great writeup, too. It is a high enough quality that going ahead and biting off the adjustable track bars would be worth it. With the HD springs though, is there any concern whatsoever about the driveshafts? Do you think they will be an issue at full flex or droop? Thanks.

I just added a Rugged Ridge XHD bumper and winch and the front is now about 1.5" lower than the rear. Would this lift with the HD springs level me out?

 

Would like some additional input on the ride of the OME compared to the ride of the Jeep stock? My stock suspension 2 door rubicon drives pretty well, would consider this kit if it had the same on road characteristics as it does stock.

I can't say about the 2dr, but the ride quality on my Unlimited is better than the stock ride. I'm sure it would depend on the spring rate you got and what type of after market bumpers, too.

 

I am planning to install the OME kit as well. However I am still researching which solution will be better: Medium or HD. I am a little suspicious about installing the HD kit if one have an aftermarket bumper + winch. I mean a front bumper + winch would weight about 150lbs give or take a little, and I can't really imagine that it would make such a difference that one would need to get the HD springs. I have the feeling that the HD are more for people that would go camping on a long weekend with 300lbs of extra gear, the kids, the wife, the dog etc...

 

I installed the HD kit on my 4 door. I did not install the pucks, but now I will be. I will have my 35's tomorrow and I'm gonna see how the rear settles with the added weight. Then, I'll install front pucks to level it out.

The HD kit rides awesome. I'd say it rides better than stock. I got some teraflex longer sway bar links. I'll move the stock links up front and the new teraflex links to the rear.

I did not even have to center my steering wheel. It was dead on after the lift. I will get track bars down the road, but the 1/2 inch is not very noticeable.
