I would't hesitate to install te HD kit, even if you never intend on running aftermarket bumpers, winch, etc. The ride and handling of the HD kit is significantly beter than stock.

Don't let the "HD" confuse you, the ride is actually quite soft and having taken mine wheeling on a few occasions I can say it flex's like crazy.
What about driveshaft wear if you wheel alot with the initial lift you get with the HD springs - if I remember correctly anything over 3 inches could call for new driveshafts, etc?

I feel the MD springs would be good enough unless you are going with some heavy aftermarket stuff..that weighs them down to the advertised 2.5 inchs of lift......

I have the Basic DX with smittybilt winch dont plan on any heavy heavy stuff so I went medium

Also I would like to note out that there is no Medium Spring for the OME kit. Just Light load and heavy according to the arb website.

You can run the stock wheels and tires no problem with this lift. There is nothing on the kit that changes anything to cause rubbing.

and what about centering the drive shaft...track bar relocation bracketes...adjustable brackets...is any of this stuff needed after one installs the 2" but really 3.5" OME lift? I want to know since it's the only lift manufacturer that I would even consider at this time...they are essentially the last ones out with a "budget" boost, and they have R&D'd the product to death, as well as studied all the rush to market budget boosts and discarded what they didn't like (most all of it), and borrowed what they did like (very little if any).

Nothing else is "required" but some of the stuff is nice to have.

Your axles will be offset 1/4" which is not horrible but not perfect. add $188 trackbar problem solved.

I have said it many tiimes and I still stick to my guns. I would rather be 1/4" off then put any drop dwon brackets on.

Its adjustable track bars or nothing IMHO.

These aren't what I'd call "pretty pictures" but I'm fairly certain that this is fully flexed . Definitely fully stuck.
