Tuffy security deck install... JK 4-door
I have put three cases of soda and a couple of grocery bags on top of my deck with no problem whatsoever. It's pretty sturdy. Awesome product. I have even used it as a makeshift baby changing table on the road. I bet Tuffy never thought of that use!!!

Thanks for the write-up. I have the flexatrunk installed currently, but am considering swapping it out for this (steel is better than plastic).
I was wondering if one of you that has this installed can tell me the measurement from the cargo bed to the bottom of the tuffy lid? Just curious if my subwoofer will fit in there.

when i got mine directly from Tuffy, the upper tray was bent on two corners but with pliers the problem was resolved. i hope they fix the shipping issues. all other fit and finish was awesome. i really like how secure it is when the top and doors are off. the rear gate is remote locked and there is no way to unlock it without violent action. too much effort for most thieves since they dont know what is in there anyways.
no all i need in there is a light.

As far as the packaging, the only issue was with the Deck Lid where it meets the tailgate; each corner near the rubber stripping the paint has small stress cracks and is getting ready to chip off. Other than that, noting was severely bent or broken, and overall I'm very happy!
Great Product Tuffy

Oh and for those of you who want tie downs Tuffy does make them... I got the set of 4 individual tie downs rather then the bars as I wasn't sure the bars would fit.
Another question":
I have an "instatrunk" already installed that does a good job of keeping my tool box, ammo cans (road kit), and recovery gear stable and secure.
Looking at the install photos, they use some of the same nutserts, but I was hoping the two could be used/ rigged together. I don't want those heavy boxes to be too loose, even "below deck".
Tuffy, I sent you an email with the same question, but I thought this might be a good question to post on the Forum.

Here's what I did with my Tuffy.
Bolted on 30mm ammo cans into those side bins with existing holes...and bolted on a bbq from sears for camping/tailgating(drilling required to the Tuffy deck). The bbq is installed with wingnuts inside so it's secure from theft and it's easy to remove.
