Great Write-Up
Noticed my first coolant drip. Traced it to the passenger side of the water pump. Which makes me think it's the gasket and not the pump.
Is there a way to clean it up and wipe some RTV sealant around where the pump meets the block?

I'm only at 45K and mine was leaking too. Got it replaced for free under warranty.

I was checking the oil this evening and noticed some leakage. Looks like its the gasket. I will probably go ahead and replace the water pump anyway. I would hate to replace just the gasket then the pump go out right after. I have about 55K on the odometer.

At 63,000 miles, my 08 is having its pumped warranty-replaced at the dealer today (driving around in a blurple Chevy Cobalt for the day....... can't wait to get the jeep back)

Will be nice to not have to keep the heat blowing to keep from overheating!
