So sorry that i wasted your valuable time and made you think about posting a response. The computer that i was using at the time wouldn't show most of the pictures, so even though i looked through the entire thread, i did not see the pictures you were talking about. I just love all the jackasses on this forum

Didn't want to come across as a Jackass or any other name associated with negative connotation. I was actually trying to be helpful in the since that perhaps reading started somewhere other then at the beginning and the requested items where avaiable and I didn't read the request correctly.

I hope we all understand that whats typed will sometimes come across to others in a entirely different way then what was intended.

So, with that said, I do apologize to everyone that got upset and/or laughed for steering this thread a bit off track.

Based on this thread, I had my neighbor install a Smittybilt 8k/lb XRC last week. We ended up having to use it last night (our first time out with it) to pull another Jeeper who nearly rolled off the edge of a cliff in the Crown King area.

We watched him do it. He was going too fast and hit a 1.5-3ft deep rut. He broke both front leaf springs, drive shaft and blew up the transfer case. We were able to tow him down and to the highway so they can get it towed to their house.

Thankful to those who started and contribute to this thread as I would not have pushed to install the winch if I had not seen this install write up.

Here are some picks of the other jeep after pulling it back from the edge. The last one is the damaged trasfercase.
