Here is mine that I did two weekends ago.
And I already tested it this past weekend. Lol. Works good. For the bottom brace I cut a section out and welded in some angle iron. Then this past weekend I bashed in one corner of my bumper while wheeling so we will see what I do next lol.

Very interested in doing this. My question is has anyone with a front receiver done this? I just mounted a curt hitch up front. Mounts to side of frame and sits just below the bumper. I want to try this but unsure if anything would hang to low and interfere with the hitch?
I'm working on the same set up but once its done you wont be able to tell it has a winch. Its still a work in progress but here is the switch set up and the clutch cable (round silver knob down and right of the t-case shifter) to disengage the free spool with out having to get out and dig under the bumper and fiddle around to find the free spool lever. The red switch is engage/disengage power to the black on-off-on switch (up=out, center=off,, down=in). right now I'm doing it with just a cheap use harbor freight 8000K with the solenoid box mounted next to battery which I'm going to clean up a bit and make it look better. I'm trying to do this with as little money out of my pocket as possible so far I'm $250 into is and that's including the winch I'm getting the roller fair lead and winch plate Wednesday. (I'm not broke just want to see if it can be done for all those out there on a tight budget but want to still be able to drive a quite capable vehicle lol)

It appears that there is def a market for some one to fab up some winch plates to sell and still make them as universal as possible. Ones that would go on without any cutting or grinding from the owner. Should b fairly cheap to do, anyone?
