No it won't work. I was going to do this same thing, but when I got it all apart there isn't enough room. The swaybar disconnect motor and brackets take up too much room. That's when I came up with this.

x2 on that... damn swaybar disco is in the way... and rotating it up doesnt do a bit of good... infact, it makes it worse. if only the frame rails were about 2" longer...

yeah, i'm going to do what RedRockJK did, but with a winch hoop. as soon as i get the money for that... sheessss, always something sucking up the greens...

Looks good! Can you post a few more pictures under the bumper to give a better perspective?

Thanks!

I am going to put it on a lift on this weekend , will get some pics from the bottom. I just inverted the winch upside down, and did some trimming to the steel inner bumper. I really should have been taking pictures as I went. It took about 8 hours to do.

I used this plate upside down and had to trim in a little

And this winch inverted, and turned it upside down. Mounted the remote relay box on the top of the bumper.

Okay here goes

Bottom View

Had to notch out for the clutch lever

Also had to relieve the bottom edge of the metal inner bumper to allow the winch to come 1.5 inches forward to clear the electric disconnet.

This shows the clearance achieved

Mounted the electricals on top

I have some molding coming to frame in the fairing head.

Installing the lift and lower control arms tomorrow, then will add on the Nittos and new wheels Saturday.

Thanks for the pictures, they make it a lot easier to figure where everything goes.

yeah... i was wrong . now that i got my bumper off and put the winch plate up there i see that it can be done, but its not just a direct bolt in. i also don't want to mount mine upside down, so its going to be more work for me since i'll have to not only cut more of the plate off, but also find a way to bolt it on while not messing up the mount points for the winch. i've got it in my head and i'm still working on getting it on paper before i do it. hopefully with enough brain time on it, everything will become clear... maybe when i can aford it, i'll see how well a power plant will fit. anyone wanna loan me theres for me to see if it'll fit? i promise you'll get it back...

and i like how your's looks mfbarnes@barnes, nice clean install
