Wish I could have hit the beach run with yall but had already made plans before I saw your thread about the run. Next time for sure.

 

Anyone got a plan in the works for a ride in next couple weeks I'm already itching to ride again.

 

I was wondering the same thing. Is there anywhere good over on the other side of the river to wheel?

 

We don't have anything here that I know of I was surprised when y'all started talking about the beach.

 

The closest park I have heard of is in Crosby. I was told it is mainly trails and mud. From Beaumont it is 1-1.25 hours depending how you drive. I was wondering about LA because it would get old for you guys to always have to drive over here to ride.
I have never been to the beaches over there but maybe we could just get a get-together planned where we hit a beach, cruise it, bring some grills, and just hang out???

 

Not sure if anyone would be interested in going but I have been to 2 charity events with HJP and they do some good work. Sat, Aug 6th at Crystal Beach they are having their first annual "Offroaders for the Cure" run. This is going to be a fund raiser for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Any excuse for the beach is a good excuse!

 

What is HJP? An I'm down for a charity run just let me know time and place to meet up and all the smaller details.

 

HJP is Houston Jeep People. A meet up group open to anyone with a Jeep. Just google them and you can learn more about them. They do several meet ups and or runs a month.
