Yep, found that out today. Starting spring, I'm going to clean out the garage and get some tool storage to where I can start storing the tools. Then start buying the wrenches first, sockets and ratchets next followed by some specialty tools. Funny how you can tie up about as much in tools as we do in mods .

I don't mind the cold for the most part, just a couple degrees warmer would have helped, like ~50. It's a Wade Automotive wind deflector, got the side and top deflectors for Christmas. Now my buddy doesn't complain about wind while driving topless (the Jeep that is).

So you notice the deflector but miss the missing component that is made somewhat apparent by another component being out of place in the first picture?
Let's see if anyone can identify the missing component, this is the BS thread right? I would think a seek and find game qualifies as BS.
I have had this off since the third month of having my Jeep.

When you removed your factory tire carrier did you have to buy something to plug the holes? I am just curious what everyone is doing.
Are you talking about these holes? I'd like to know what people are using as well.

First thing I did when I got my Jeep was get a set of Craftsman 18mm and 19mm open-end ratchet-end wrenchs and one that was both sizes ratchet-ends.

mine has little rubber grommets in those holes that were there from the factory.

oh I see the difference, you are running without a spare, so you have holes where you took out the "bump stop" things that keep the spare from rattling.

My LoD tire carrier uses the stock bumpstops so they stay there, so no empty holes. The other holes have little rubber grommets in them.

Yeah, had a blow out, as it sat in my driveway. So I just pulled it all off. I didn't like the look of the fat bumpstops, and I guess I could put the grommet from the wiring harness back in, I just wanted a solid one. Seen people with them.

Thanks for the photos guys.

I wonder if the OR-FAB carrier makes use of the factory stops like the LoD carrier does, or if I'll have to find something to plug those holes

usually most aftermarket bumpers with a swing away tire carrier will have bump stops in the bolt kit. there is sheetmetal plugs that can be purchased at most automotive stores
