My sister asked her Edmond cop friends about the 3rd break light...they said that if your vehicle comes with a 3rd break light then it should stay there for safety reasons, but it doesnt mean its the law to leave it. So basically they said depending on the cop there is always a chance of getting pulled over for it, but they said it wouldnt be a good reason to randomly pull someone over.

I don't want to give any of them a reason to pull me over

Nice choice for a lift. I presume going to a 3.5", it comes with a way for caster correction in the front? You'll need in the very minimum front Lower Control Arms to adjust your caster. Looks like you're definitely headed in the right direction . Be sure to post up some pictures once the lift's up. You planning on installing the lift yourself or having a shop do it? I'd highly recommend doing it yourself - plenty of people around to give a hand with it

Not sure. I think it has drop brackets for the LCAs :x but still LCAs are no problem either way . I've been debating about the whole installing thing. I have no prob doing it myself I just don't know about the time to do it lol. I work at ACE and our busy spring season is about to start up lol.

It's not so much the carrier's fault, but rather CRAPPY instructions.... that, and my wife has not "let" me spend more than about 5 hours total working on this thing.

However, today I took her car to work and told her that I will continue driving her car until she gives me the time to finish my Jeep

Oddly, so time opened up to work on it

manoj ...you should shoot a 20 minute video of your tire swing and latch...Jason seems to have the lube but just needs a extra "hand"

Nope... latch is good. I was just curious how his t-bar secures.

Other than that, I just need to re-align the damn tailgate and set the pre-load on the carrier and I should be done.

Dang bud . How far along have you gotten?

The only pic I have at the moment of the tire carrier's t-bar is this one:

If you want a certain angle or straight up, I can go out and take a couple of pics for you.
