OK bs
Either would work. RC makes good stuff as well but my experience with RC has been this - when u get a 3" lift, you'll net exactly that - 3". Add any accessories like heavier bumpers, tires or winch and you'll start losing that height. TF gives you more than advertised height to compensate for sag from adds. Plus you could always convert to a TF 2.5" long arm kit in the future for more flex.

If you expect a 3" lift, and get more you are happy. If everyone is telling you how their 3" kits are netting them 4", and then you buy a RC 3" kit and get exactly 3" you are disappointed.
As long as you know what you are getting into, then both kits are fine.
I'm happy with my choice, and saved a few clams.
Thats why i am wondering if i should go with the RC kit to save a few hundred dollars and keep the money in the bank, or put it to the winch. Tough decision. thats why i need your guy's help!
In may I am buying BFH front bumper w/ trail stinger, BFH rear bumper, winch mount, hawse fairlead, hawse light mount, and 4 shackels all from Poison spyder...so yeah, they will be getting some money from me.

So they would both be 3" lifts to start out. with RC i would save a few hundred dollars to start out, but to upgrade the lift, i would be switching everything out. To where TF i would be just buying thier upgrade kits so its easier. so now TF is looking better to where RC was looking better 5 minutes ago. decisions decisions....

For my 3.25" kit, assume it will give you the same height as the TF 2.5" kit, and your expectations will be in order.
YESsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss they even admitted it to SilverJK in a thread on here

and they are advertising a 2.5 long arm kit now.....

:crazyeye s:

:cra zyeyes:

you should read that thread but don't read what I posted you might be disappointed because in no way would you need a LA kit for a 2.5 lift unless you were racing the baja 500 but then again maybe you could mount coil overs under your seat since that makes sense also

around 30-40 bucks more and you could get this one
h X X p://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_jk_3-seriesII.html
you can upgrade any lift ...some are "just" more expensive than others to do so
