Currie makes some great products albeit, not cheap.

Many will agree with me when I say that cheap and quality usually don't fit in one sentence together - you'll usually get one, or the other. That said, if you're at a point that the ball joints need to be replaced, I'd spend the extra dime and go with Pro Steer Heavy Duty ball joints that have zerk fittings so that you can grease them. On the other hand, if you don't want to spend that much at the moment, Quadratec has the Mopar Original Replacement Ball Joints for a lot less:

However, ball joints on the JKs are known to go back quick - quicker than any other Wrangler and it'll just be a matter of time before you'll be looking for replacements again - it's cheaper to do it right the first time

I know this is the "wisdom", but I just checked my ball joints the other day. 68K miles and not a bit of play. I have a new set of ball joints waiting to be installed (nothing fancy, just plain $100 ball joints), but there's no point since the stockers are just fine.

Wonder if the amount of lift has anything to do with the cases where ball joints have worn out?

Alright, well I'm posting this from my new iMac, so maybe now I'll be able to do even more with some video editing when we have get-togethers.

I'm super excited. I've been watching tips on how to do all of the big time editing I've been wanting to do.

I had the RC Dual SS for a few months. Didn't notice much of a difference from the stock one and have been running without a SS for a few months now and don't miss it
