Yep, we got a metric ton of snow.

Here is a picture of them actually using dump trucks to remove snow from Downtown... it was literally that bad.

Worse than the Blizzard of 2009? Or the ice storm of 2010 last February? Must admit - it does look bad.

The storm we got in '09 was nothing compared to this. Our youngest was born right in the mix of the '09 storm and it wasn't anything getting my Jeep out to take my wife to the hospital, and that was before I had 35s or the each clearance of my 3.25" lift (I had a 2.5" BB then)....

This time around, however, I could barely get out of the driveway. The snow was so deep I was literally pushing it with my bumper

Pulled a Ford Expedition that was stuck, pulled her up a hill until she was on flat land again. everyone was getting stuck at this intersection, so i just slipped between 2 trucks waiting on a few people to catch traction infront of them, went up a curb and through a snow drift to help her out. Luckly the other people got unstuck, i could have been at that intersection all night. it was a ice rink! 4H did wonders for me and my 33s

Down here, we got it worse in '09 than we did this time around. Back in '09, we lost power to almost 90% of Lawton and it was out for a few days - almost 10 - 15 days in places. This time round, no loss of power. Just a lot of stuck and abandoned vehicles - just like back in '09. Didn't realize this was worse than back then for you guys.

It was a blast... My wife and I just loaded up in the Jeep, I put it in 4H and off we went.

This was back when I still had rather balding stock SRAs, just to give you a hint of how crummy the '09 storm was for us.

No pics, b/c I'm still thawing out and I left my phone and camera in the house, but I took the dog out to pee (and I think the pee froze before it hit the ground) and heard a truck spinning tires in the end of our cul-de-sac. Rushed in, blurted out to wife, "time for another rescue!".

Headed to the end of the cul-de-sac, it was a HUGE FULL SIZE SAND TRUCK WITH SNOW PLOW ON FRONT.

He lives down there and was in between jobs and thought he would clear it up a little.

Well, somehow, he just lost momentum and was just spinning and couldn't get moving at all. It sure didn't look like he needed much help just something to keep from slipping backwards while spinning his tires.

After talking to jwhitehorn today, I'm a little gun-shy of that big of a pull on the Jeep. So, I hooked up the winch to him just to give him some steady forward pulling while he tried to spin out of it. AWESOME!!!! Got him right out no problem.

So, my 12th rescue over the last 2 days was a full size Semi-truck with salt/sand and plow on it.

Now he owes me a favor, so when I need something plowed, etc. I know who to call.

WOW! I don't think you'd get too far with the SRAs down here right now
