should be warranty in my books... but that is here nor there now... i need an axle or carrier
I bet they don't warranty the axles in those X's they sell either. If they are, I bet they are having to EAT every one because Chrysler WILL kick them back. Expecting Chrysler to warranty 35s on a Rubicon is slap laughable at best. That's a good one.

What dealer would that be??
I'm from Lancaster, and your just up the road. Would like to go take a look at a JK with 35's at the dealers. I know Fischel's close to York, however I never saw any modified JK's there.

not quite sure why it would be "slap laughable" (good one BTW, never heard that before) and i am glad you find humor in the misfortune of others...before i installed the lift i cleared it with the dealer, when i bought the truck, i made my intentions known. and if they are selling 35's on piddly D30's then they should warranty my Rubicon...

i could have bought an X and built a Rubicon, with axles, TC, e-disco the whole 9 yards for cheaper then i got mine for...AND i also bought an 08 CRD Grand from them...and did ALL my oil changes at the dealer... i have spent easyily 6 grand there in the last 20 months... stupid i know but i thought i was building good will by being a VERY GOOD and LOYAL customer... PFFFFT!

Yes i am bitter... but i may work out in the end... another dealer is willing to play ball with me... because my service records are immaculate

I never even implied I found humor in anyone's misfortune. Why would you think that? You musta flunked outta comprehension in grammar school. I think it's funny that you'd expect warranty help on axles when you're runnin 35s. That's what's funny. I'm sorry it happened, but you ARE running 35s on stock axles. They aren't made for that.

I hear ya, brother. I've worked at dealerships literally all my life. I've seen and done a lot of goodwill warranty. If they chose to warranty your stuff, they would have been going above and beyond what would be considered goodwill. Have you tried asking them to "help"? Perhaps "remind" them (STRONGLY) of your past purchases. Then, explain to them that next time you COULD buy somewhere else. They might go 50%. That would be better than nothing, would it not?

I'm sorry Rando....but this is partly why I preached to you before in the Canada section about not being that "peddle masher" and posting videos of you crushing cars with your Jeep.

So now you take a fight to Chrysler to have your oversized wheeled broken Diff/carrier fixed, yet, you have public videos of you clearly abusing your Jeep and using it in a manner not fit or suited for Warranty coverage, and clearly demonstrating EXACTLY how to damage those parts willfully.

I hate to say it dude, but you did it to yourself.

I'm sorry your ride is screwed, and dealing with break down sucks (I'll knock on wood as mine has yet to be busted) all the more reason to take it easy out there.

Best of luck in your quest with Chrysler....you'll need it.

PS, if those Youtube videos happen to disappear, no worries, I got some copies I can lend you.

anybody else destroyed a front diff?

so if anyone has a front axle or a carrier laying around... i am your guy!
also need a rear DS for a 07 2 dr Rubi

time to step up to 60's i guess
eehhh you could do 60s but seriously for 35s, cmolys all around and you'll be fine along with the correct gearing, may have over-read that you re-geared, if you didn't you should have or at least do it in the future.

Not sure what to say about the dealerships installing 35s, like N2rock said if they are doing this and not re-calibrating then they are asking for some legality issues and lawsuits for "that" dealership, much less voiding the warranty for the buyer. Crazy stuff. If you had to go out and buy a new D44 (if you couldn't find one online used off a JK...seen some in here BTW)...then yeah D60s might be ideal...just overkill IMO.
