Am I the the only one to grenade a Rubi front Diff?
Like any other customer service...try another dealer and get another answer.
If you don't like one, go to the next. Some are willing to help (they do get paid for this work) and some aren't. Don't spend another dime at the one who won't help you.

They really should just shut there mouth and do the repair. I mean either way they are getting paid for the warranty repairs from Chrysler, it's not like Chrysler has there own people come out and inspect each and every warranty repair to verify the legitimacy of the claim.

Screaming Lizard does the work for Grubbs. So, they could probably answer as to the legality of it, in TX anyway.
I personally figured I would mod my Jeep, and if I have to pay for the repairs, then I would upgrade the parts that need to be replaced. I don't go to the dealer. Not because they weren't great to me, but because I actually like working on and spending time with my Jeep.
I dont think they should warranty it. You have to be wheeling hard with 35's to break a dana 44 with lockers and 32 spline outer, 30 spline inner....
There are guys running dana 30's on 35's for YEARS without issues. (from my old tj days)
The front axle in a rubi shoud be good for up to a 37" tire if you know how to drive off road and with lockers.
Did you do the locker mod? Did you run the lockers at high speed?

Unfortuneately Warranty work is for Manufacturer parts that have failed under "Normal Driving Circumstances" not "Abusive Practice". Offroading and taking on challenges that are beyond the scope of the 'Trail Rated" certification such as heavy rock crawling, excessively deep water, full throttle mud bogging, car crushing, and roll over due to extreme off camber situation are all considered "Abusive Practice".
Warranty, by the rules of their own book, should not do this repair.
I will say I dont agree with the VOIDING of a warranty. I think that is far overstepping a limit.
But fixing for free due to abusive practice is also over the limit.
