The Gas shocks do make a differance, a friend has the same lift with the std. shocks and we both think my'in rides better. No I did not do the Track-bar. No Need Too.

Here's a photo.......

It's just a basic 3" starter lift and should probably work fine. I'm pretty sure I have read other members on hear say that their coils were a bit on the soft side and tended to loose substantial height with the addition of heavy bumpers but then, no lift is impervious to some sagging. The only thing I would recommend is that you DO NOT use the cam bolts to set your caster. If you can and if you feel it's really needed, buy a set of adjustable front control arms and adjust your caster with them.

I had a 3" BDS lift on my 1999 TJ and it worked out great. Can't beat the warranty, not that you will need it. I did wind up adding lower control arms after about a year, which really seem to help the ride.

I am planning on getting the lift you refered to on my JK soon, since i had good luck with BDS. I drive over 60 miles a day for work, so I will probably get adjustable control arms to make sure the aligment is good.

My 2 cents....

Matt

matt...
i see you have a rubicon...i will too..once mine gets here...

if you follow the link i put up top...it says that it won't work with 2 door or rubicon... or 2 wheel drive.

so since we have rubicons...will it not work?

why won't it work? what is the reason? does BDS make one that WILL work??

If you talk with a reseller, it need to replace the complete box kit : 014310 by 014311, thats the box for the Rubicon only.
