Do this again, Goodyear MTR/K's or BFG KM2's
Every set of Good Years I have ever had have worn unevenly, and the MTR/K is only a C load rating for the 35-12.5-17. If you have a 4 door I wouldn't go down to that load rating. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about the KM2's other that they run a little small, but what tire doesn't?
Well right now its a tie between the Nittos and BFG's. Only problem is the BFG's are on national back-order
. I've been told different stories by a few different suppliers. Some say a few months while some say they have no clue.
Anyone have comments for the Pro Comp tires, mainly the extreme M/T?

They use a ton of weights, mine have rim weights and sticky weights all over them. At different balancing shops couldn't get them to balance correctly, and once they throw a weight or two you'll feel it all over the road.
Really? I ordered mine Tuesday, had them installed Wednesday from Big O Tire. I believe NTB is owned by the same company. Try whichever of those is in your area.

The factory Rubicon doesn't have as large of a sidewall, and from the factory it is considerably lighter than after you hang some steel bumpers, more skids, cage, winch, my fat ass, etc. I'm sure they are safe to use, was just saying that was part of my decision.
I would go with the mtr/k i read some really good reveiws on it here while back in a 4x4 magazine. After i get my 37in toyos installed and worn out i will either be going with 38/1450/17 or 40/1450/17 in the mtr/k

Driving skill and other factors might have caused this but KM2's don't magically turn 2wd into a 4 wheel locked machine.
Km2's are a good tire but they're not that good.

The Nitto Trail Grapplers are kinda heavy (that's the 'E' load rating for ya), but compared to the other two, they ride smooth, have good wet pavement traction, and generally do a damn good job overall. If you're not going to be playing in heavy mud, it's the best of the three.
You might also want to take a look at the Goodyear DuraTrac or the Falken Wild Peak. Both of those have even better wet handling than the Nitto Trail Grappler, and they also weigh less.
