Did you have some tomato soup with it, or lay in some bacon?

When I changed all my joints to spicers in my Tom woods shafts, I had to use needle fittings for the ones in the double Cardon joints due to clearance issues.the fact the fitting is in the center of the cross provides grease to ALL 4caps unlike a fitting which is in a cap. Rotation forces the grease outward... Why would u want to have the grease sorurce (zerk) at the outermost point. This kinda works out since the centering ball has a needle fitting also and there all right there.
My driveline shop, who re balanced and painted my front as I said earlier, said they have had quite a few cases like mine regarding tw shafts.
My driveline shop advertises in all the popular jeep mags, is 20 min from me if i have an issue ever, and while there ad isn't a full page there work outperforms there advertising.

I guess I don't get all the arguing. If you order a Woods shaft, specifically ask for Neapco or Spicer ujoints, end of story. For the most part a shaft is a shaft is s shaft. Get good joints and make sure they balance it well. I don't know where Gold Seal ujoints are made, Tom won't disclose it, and I can't find it in the Internet, that makes me not want to use those joints, as it gives the appearance that there is something to hide. There is nothing proprietary about ujoints.

I'd also like to know if there are opinions on JE Reel.

I'm probably getting my lift installed next weekend and the shop that's doing it uses JE Reel, suggested the 1310 for me. I am inclined to go ahead and get it since that's what they're used to working with unless there's some reason not to?
