From what I recall it was either $65 or 70 from Lordco. Is that Filter from National 4wd include shipping??? Pre-filter will look badass on your Rig with the Gobi Rack!

I run my aev snorkel with the airaid throttle body spacer, K&N filter and jet stage 1 chip. Believe it or not the snorkel actually dulls the whistle of the spacer. Still not sure if the partially due to the growl of the Gibson dual cat back exhaust lol. Went through the same mud hole down the middle at whipsaw and am very glad because that pick has me puckering for you

I took mine snorkel off twice. each time I saw a 2 mpg difference. My Snorkel with the superchip set at 87, I see a 2mpg increase with the snorkel on. In my test the superchip remained constant.

I just got my River Raider the snorkel the other day and will put it on Thursday night! I got it for all the same reasons people have mentioned here...even though I do not go out of my way to play in the water, it seems to always find us and I would rather be prepared than hydrolocked...plus they look cool as hell! I will let you know what I get mileage wise...

Im a huge fan of my AEV snorkel kit. The performance gains are very noticable, plus it just makes sense that your engine will run better with it. I would much rather pull cooler air from outside the engine compartment vs using a CAI kit drawing 200 degree air from inside it. I use the pre-filter setup because its the better option here in AZ and it really does its job well. I sometimes find live critters in it when I clean it out and it's shocking to see how much sand piles up inside the filter bowl. The funniest thing was my dogs reaction to it. You can really hear the pre-filter bowl pulling air and my dog started barking at during his first ride with it installed. I highly recommend a snorkel over a CAI kit

Haha Ken.....I know it had several people talking after my little mud dip! I think more and more people are considering the snorkel for those holy crap and pucker factor 10 moments in mud and water! I am still really happy with the snorkel...works great and looks awesome!
