i guess hypertech will be getting alote of call this morn when they open.. i hope their is a easy fix for the update problem ,without having to send it back to them...

Just a note to all those with programmers out there.

Always do your updates early in the week so you have an opportunity to get things corrected via the manufacturers tech support. With the staffs taking the weekends off like the majority of us, Friday night is the worst time to do an update. Additionally, most of the programmer manufacturers release their updates early in the week for the exact same reason. They certainly don't want to get flamed for a whole weekend because they just bricked some ones vehicle.

just talked to hypertech and they said they know of the update problem and their should be a fix out soon.. so guess just have to wait.. but atleast we dont have to send them back to get fixed

I called them this after noon and they said they had a fix for the problem but tonight i updated and it started and ask for all info but when it went to program it said error code 7e: worm error ....guess I will need to call tomorrow

I got my hypertech in the mail today with what I think is the latest programming on it and it installed onto my Jeep just fine. I think I'm going to wait for a while to update until this mess all gets sorted out.
Initial impressions on regular gas: it definately makes a difference in throttle response and power. The gains aren't out of this world, but very noticeable. I'm glad I got this and at a great price buying it from a member on here.

Called Hypertech, they were able to send an update for my particular unit...All is good...Thanks Gary @ Hypertech...Great customer service & Tech Support...

I agree, my unit is arriving today, and I dont know if I should update it (Or honestly even how to update it at this point)

the latest verison works great... fixed mine after the bad upgrade , so you will be good to go with the newest one
