lift advice
Good choice going with any teraflex system. I glanced through and never saw any more mention of the bilstien shocks in the posts. If I were you I would get the fox shocks from teraflex instead. They are MUCH better than any 5100 series shock. I run teraflex, and next year I think im upgrading to a little bigger system than I have now. I have to get the other stuff for my rig first to finish it off, and then I am going to revisit my lift. I Think im going to 2.5" springs, with fixed control arms, fox remote resi shocks and speed bumps.
I am loyal to teraflex because of their products and customer service. They are just a great bunch of people there, and their products rock.

Far from bulletproof, I have seen broken speed bumps, no adjustability, crazy cost for a can filled with foam. How can they be "tuned" when you are not taking the weight of the jeep into consideration.
I guess don't understand the whole speed/air bump thing. Maybe if I lived in the desert, or somewhere I had to haul ass across rough terrain to get to my wheelin spot? I dunno...
OP, if you plan on wheeling your jeep, I would factor in the cost of a front driveshaft like was already mentioned not matter how much lift you end up with. When you start drooping the front end, and getting it all crossed up, you will contact the exhaust.

TF tunes the compression & rebound to their springs & dedicated shocks. Set 'em, forget 'em. No jerking around trying to "tune" an air bump and never knowing if you have it right or not.

I've NEVER seen a failed TF Speed Bump. EVER. There's a lot of talk dissing Speed Bumps, but pics it didn't happen.

As dirt said none of what you said relates to the weight differences out there. There is no "tuning" a chunk of foam and it can wear. Its only a wonder if you have it right or not if you have no clue what your doing.. I can get true hydraulic air bump if im not mistaken for less than the foam half ass attempt. Hell why not go the daystar foam bumps then also? I wouldn't call it set it and forget it id call it install and hope for the best....if your doubting any have failed and need proof thats asinine. Ive seen lots break that wasnt supposed to. Whos to says bump couldn't?
