Ugh like 10 real light ones cuz it wasn't as thick as I hoped it would be plus about 3 or 4 clear coats. Its been tree dashed, powerwashed and thru a few mudholes and still as clean as the day I put it on. Pretty bright at night too except the reverse light which is now pretty much useless....

Thanks! It doesn't exactly make it plush but it does cover the sharp corner.

I may eventually wrap the passenger side grab handle on the dash. That should store quite a bit of just-in-case paracord.

Pinch seam cover up!

Hi all! I'm new to the forum but not to Jeeps. I just got my 2011 JK sport. Love it! I was driving a 2004 TJ X b/4 & man there's a whole lot of differences. One thing that bothered me on my Jk was that ugly pinch seam right below the doors. Most nerf bars cover this up but if your like me your not using them. I found a cheap way to cover this if your interested. I bought a roll of 3" grip tape for cement steps at my local hardware store. About $10. Brought it home, cleaned the pinch seam area & applied the tape. You can cover the whole seam from front to rear. IMO it looks great & even has a rough surface that looks pretty cool. So far it has stayed in place even through the automatic carwash. Here's some pics of my MT JK & the pinch seam coverup.
Sorry only my second post, I forgot b/4 pics.
